Join us for informal evenings of chess. Volunteers will be available to help players of all levels learn chess basics and try different strategies. Chess Night is more social than competitive, so plan to have fun and make new friends.

Teens who enjoy anime, manga, drawing, and games can hang out, learn about Japanese culture through media and see its influence on other cultures. Snacks included. 

Come and join us for a time of Yarn Crafting. Bring whatever you’re working on whether it be knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, or embroidery. All are welcome from beginner to advanced. We look forward to seeing you there.

Stay pawsitive about reading! Read to a friendly therapy dog who loves kids and books. This is a fun way to practice reading aloud, and a great stress reducer if you love cute canines.

Students from Manhattan High School want to share the joy of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math with you!

Let’s get ready to plant a garden! If you’d like to learn the best ways to plant and grow food and flowers, join us for a story and important facts and tips for young gardeners. Take a seed home to plant. For K-5th graders.

Bring your little one to the library for some social interaction and fun. Toddler toys will be in the Storytime Room during this informal program where caregivers can also chat and get to know each other. Suggested for ages 0-2 with caregivers.
