This storytime is active and fun for young children. Caregivers participate with their children as we sing songs, do action rhymes, listen to stories and have music time. The target age for this storytime is children 18 months old and up.

Librarians will present an active storytime for children ages 3 and up, with books on the big screen, action rhymes, parachute time and music. Storytime is great for helping children develop early literacy skills.

Saturday storytimes combine the best elements of all our storytimes to suit a wide range of ages so that the whole family can attend together. We will read stories, sing songs, learn rhymes and dance to music with shakers.

Come and socialize with fellow knitting and crocheting enthusiasts! All levels of experience welcome. Work on your yarn and textile projects and craft with others.This program is intended for adults and teens.

What can you create with a cardboard box? The library will provide boxes and craft supplies, you supply the creativity! A box is never just a box, it can be anything. Suggested for children preschool through 5th grade.

Here's looking at you, kid! Come and spend an afternoon in the 1940s watching the award winning film, Casablanca. Enjoy vintage candy and popcorn.  Themed clothing in encouraged. Registration required.

On Tuesday afternoons we will have fun options for teens in the Teen Zone including special crafts, board games, or just time to chat with one of our librarians. What would you like to do?

Teens who enjoy anime, manga, drawing, and games can hang out, learn about Japanese culture through media and see its influence on other cultures. Snacks included. 

Join us for informal evenings of chess. Volunteers will be available to help players of all levels learn chess basics and try different strategies. Chess Night is more social than competitive, so plan to have fun and make new friends.
