Celebrate Kansas Reads to Preschoolers Week by reading to a young child in your life! This year's featured book is How Do You Hug a Porcupine? by Laurie Isop. All families attending a storytime this week will get a free book. 

Caregivers sit with their little ones to sing, clap and play along with rhymes, read a short book together, and have shaker music time. Learn a new word in baby sign language each week.

This storytime is active and fun for young children. Caregivers participate with their children as we sing songs, do action rhymes, listen to stories and have music time. The target age for this storytime is children 18 months old and up.

Teens who enjoy anime, manga, drawing, and games can hang out, learn about Japanese culture through media and see its influence on other cultures. Snacks included. 

Enjoy Varsity donuts while hanging out with other book enthusiasts! Discuss any book within the popular genres of true crime, mystery, murder or suspense, and share your thoughts with us. Free book drawing at each session.

Librarians will present an active storytime for children ages 3 and up, with books on the big screen, action rhymes, parachute time and music. Storytime is great for helping children develop early literacy skills.

Stay pawsitive about reading! Read to a friendly therapy dog who loves kids and books. This is a fun way to practice reading aloud, and a great stress reducer if you love cute canines.

Join us for a Bilingual Spanish Storytime on Saturdays at 11:00, Oct. 26 - Nov. 23. This storytime is suggested for ages 3-8. We will tell great tales and look at some beautiful illustrations, focusing on books by Latinx authors and illustrators.
