Librarians will present an active storytime for children ages 3 and up, with books on the big screen, action rhymes, parachute time, and music. Storytime is great for helping children develop early literacy skills.

Join us at the 30th Annual Manhattan Juneteenth Celebration at Douglass Park on historical Yuma Street. The library will have a table with information, along with many other vendors, food, children's activities and live music. 

Saturday storytimes combine the best elements of all our storytimes to suit a wide range of ages so that the whole family can attend together. We will read stories, sing songs, learn rhymes and dance to music with shakers.

This storytime is active and fun for young children. Caregivers participate with their children as we sing songs, do action rhymes, listen to stories, and have music time. The target age for this storytime is children 18 months old and up.
