Join us as we partner with Humanities Kansas, KSU English department and Audubon of Kansas, for a unique poetry and birding experience . We will hike the short loop of Konza Prairie, enjoy poetry, and learn about Kansas birds. Come for a short poetry reading from the collection of poems put together by Humanities Kansas and read by KSU professors Traci Bramhall (contributing poet) and Elizabeth Dodd and learn about Kansas birds from Audubon of Kansas. If you would like to stay we will then hike the short loop of Konza and learn more about poetry, birds, and the tallgrass prairie ecosystem. Registration is required. We will have a limited amount of the poetry books for those registered. One per family please.  We will meet at the Nature trail head of Konza. Please abide by all Konza Prairie Biological station rules and regulations.
