In celebration of the 4th Annual Kansas Science Festival, we’re bringing back "Ask a Scientist"! 

Let’s get ready to plant a garden! If you’d like to learn the best ways to plant and grow food and flowers, join us for a story and important facts and tips for young gardeners. Take a seed home to plant, provided by Riley County Extension.

Bring your little one to the library for some social interaction and fun. Toddler toys will be in the Storytime Room during this informal program where caregivers can also chat and get to know each other. Suggested for ages 0-2 with caregivers.

On Tuesday afternoons we will have fun options for teens in the Teen Zone including special crafts, board games, or just time to chat with one of our librarians. What would you like to do?

"Let's Talk Art" is an engaging bi-monthly series that invites one or two regional artists to come together for a candid and dynamic conversation about their artistic journeys.

Learn technology basics in this three-part course designed to help folks re-entering the workforce. Start your digital adventure! Meet in the library's Collaboration Space on the first floor.

Join us for informal evenings of chess. Volunteers will be available to help players of all levels learn chess basics and try different strategies. Chess Night is more social than competitive, so plan to have fun and make new friends.

Teens who enjoy anime, manga, drawing, and games can hang out, learn about Japanese culture through media and see its influence on other cultures. Snacks included. 

Hang out with other book lovers in this nontraditional book club to talk about mystery and true crime books and discuss what each of us has read in the past month.

Zoofari Tails Storytime is at the Sunset Zoo this month, inside the Nature Education Center building. This month we'll feature endangered animals, such as elephants, tigers and more!
