June 5th - "I Survived" Party based on the books by Lauren Tarshis
Explore the events of four I Survived books: The Children’s Blizzard, 1888; The Great Molasses Flood, 1919; The Attack of the Grizzlies, 1967; and The Joplin Tornado, 2011. We’ll be experimenting with and tasting molasses, trying to knock things over with wind, trying to find our way blindfolded through a blizzard, and learning all about grizzly bears.
