Event Details

Adults and teens (6th Gr. & up) can learn a new do-it-yourself project with a fun group with some guidance from librarians and other community members. Adult Services Librarian, Jennie J., will show you how to make Puto Ube (Filipino Steamed Rice Cake), along with her mother who immigrated to the U.S. from the Philippines. This program ties in with the October ReadMHK theme of Immigrant Experiences. Registration is required.
