Event Details
We will decorate upcycled rolled paper frames using paper quilling techniques. Paper quilling is art form where you use strips of rolled paper to create decorative designs. This art form can be trace its origins back hundreds of years to at least the 15th century. Recycled magazine and colored paper will be provided. Unfinished solid wood 6" x 8" picture frames has been provided thanks to sponsorship from the Manhattan Library Association. DIY Night occurs once a month for adults and teens (6th Gr. & up) to learn a new do-it-yourself project with a fun group and some guidance from librarians and other community members. Registration is required.
