Join us for the second book discussion in our series about life in the West. In Letters of a Woman Homesteader by Elinore Pruitt Stewart, the author tells the story of her own remarkable experience. As a widowed mother of one, Stewart took up homesteading in 1909 to prove that a woman could ranch. Her captivating letters reveal the isolation, the beauty, and the joy of working the prairie.
