In celebration of the 4th Annual Kansas Science Festival, we’re bringing back "Ask a Scientist"! 

This storytime is active and fun for young children. A librarian will read 2-3 stories aloud. Caregivers participate with their children as we sing songs, do action rhymes, listen to stories and have music time.

Learn technology basics in this three-part course designed to help folks re-entering the workforce. Start your digital adventure! Meet in the library's Collaboration Space on the first floor.

Join us for informal evenings of chess. Volunteers will be available to help players of all levels learn chess basics and try different strategies. Chess Night is more social than competitive, so plan to have fun and make new friends.

Caregivers sit with their little ones to sing, clap, and play along with rhymes, read a short book together, and have shaker music time. Learn a new word in baby sign language each week.

Teens who enjoy anime, manga, drawing, and games can hang out, learn about Japanese culture through media and see its influence on other cultures. Snacks included. 

Librarians will present an active storytime for children ages 3 and up, with books on the big screen, action rhymes, parachute time, and music. Storytime is great for helping children develop early literacy skills.

Saturday storytimes combine the best elements of all our storytimes to suit a wide range of ages so that the whole family can attend together. We will read stories, sing songs, learn rhymes and dance to music with shakers.
