Get to know each other on a summer adventure hike with librarians and community members on Anneberg Park’s Perimeter Trail. The trail is 1.6 miles and includes some sidewalk and some gravel pathway. Check here for more details to come.

July 10th - Olympic Adventures

Join us for informal evenings of chess. Volunteers will be available to help players of all levels learn chess basics and try different strategies. Chess Night is more social than competitive, so plan to have fun and make new friends.

Groove and dance to fun music at our summer dance party! Hear a few stories, too. This is a fun time to get out all your wiggles and dance with shakers, scarves, and more. Suggested for kids going into K-2nd grades.

Love tea parties or dinosaurs? How about both? Come to a fancy and fun tea party featuring a dinosaur story read aloud, silly dinosaur action songs, fancy snacks, and a chance to take your picture with a dinosaur friend!

Description: The library will show a free screening of The Princess Bride. This beloved comedy adventure from 1987 will be interactive with audience participation and some fun props. Feel free to come dressed as a favorite character.

Read to a friendly therapy dog who loves kids and books. This is a fun way to practice reading aloud, and a great stress reducer if you love cute canines.

Kids love to make stuff, and now they have all the supplies they need to create something great - paper, glue, scissors, and craft odds and ends! Kids can use their imaginations to make whatever they want.

Milford Nature Center will present an introduction into how fun camping can be. The program will include "Leave No Trace" principles, along with meeting a few native Kansas animals you may find while exploring the great outdoors!
