Event Details

The StoryWalk® Downtown is a self-directed activity. Starting at the library, take a walk with your children downtown while reading pages from the book Grumpy Bird by Jeremy Tankard! Look for book pages in the windows of downtown businesses, or download a map to follow the route. After completing the walk, stop by the library for a prize.

A KLINK-USD 383 Grant allows us to give away a free copy of Grumpy Bird to the first 250 families/groups who complete the StoryWalk® and come in to the library for a prize.

Enjoy a second StoryWalk® sponsored by Flint Hills Discovery Center in the downtown area. A book giveaway grant is also associated with this .
