Join Manhattan Public Library’s Winter Reading Challenge to light up your mind this season.

Librarians will present an active storytime for children ages 3 and up, with books on the big screen, action rhymes, parachute time, and music. Storytime is great for helping children develop early literacy skills.

Who is your favorite comic hero crimefighter? If you said Dog Man, this epic party is for you! If you said Petey, well, we need to talk.

Let's build together! K-5th graders will build a new structure each week using the library's Legos and their imagination. Lego Club meets on the 1st & 3rd Fridays, Jan. 3 - April 18.

Saturday storytimes combine the best elements of all our storytimes to suit a wide range of ages so that the whole family can attend together. We will read stories, sing songs, learn rhymes and dance to music with shakers.

Are you new to technology? Come and get help with your tablets, laptops, and phones. Start your digital adventure! Meet at the Douglass Activity Center in the Community Room, 925 Yuma St. Every second Monday of the month, 9:30-11:30 a.m.

This storytime is active and fun for young children. Caregivers participate with their children as we sing songs, do action rhymes, listen to stories, and have music time. The target age for this storytime is children 18 months old and up.

Caregivers sit with their little ones to sing, clap and play along with rhymes, read a short book together, and have shaker music time. Learn a new word in baby sign language each week.

On Tuesday afternoons we will have fun options for teens in the Teen Zone including special crafts, board games, or just time to chat with one of our librarians. What would you like to do?
