The StoryWalk® Downtown is a self-directed walk available May-July. The walk starts at Manhattan Public Library's north windows along 629 Poyntz Avenue.

This storytime is active and fun for young children. A librarian will read 2-3 stories aloud. Caregivers participate with their children as we sing songs, do action rhymes, listen to stories and have music time.

Librarians will present an active storytime for children ages 3 and up, with books on the big screen, action rhymes, parachute time, and music. Storytime is great for helping children develop early literacy skills.

Get ready to build, create, and have fun! Join us for LEGO Club where K-5th graders will let their imaginations soar as they construct amazing new structures each week using the library’s LEGO collection.

Saturday storytimes combine the best elements of all our storytimes to suit a wide range of ages so that the whole family can attend together. We will read stories, sing songs, learn rhymes and dance to music with shakers.
