Groove and dance to fun music at our dance parties! Hear a few stories, too. This is a fun time to get out all your wiggles and dance with shakers, scarves, and more. Suggested for ages 2-5 and K-5th grades.

Seniors and retirees, it’s tea time at the library! Join us for a relaxing break to meet others and socialize. Have some tea or coffee, and start a friendly game of Scrabble or another game option.

New to technology? Have a question about your phone or device? A librarian will be on site to help older adults with questions about their computers, tablets and phones. Meet at the Manhattan Senior Center, 301 North 4th Street.

Come and socialize with fellow knitting and crocheting enthusiasts! All levels of experience welcome. Work on your yarn and textile projects and craft with others.This program is intended for adults and teens.

Bring your little one to the library for some social interaction and fun. Toddler toys will be in the Storytime Room during this informal program where caregivers can also chat and get to know each other. Suggested for ages 0-2 with caregivers.

Teens who enjoy anime, manga, drawing, and games can hang out, learn about Japanese culture through media and see its influence on other cultures. Snacks included. 

Are you in the thick of the holiday commotion? Forgot holiday cards?? Come to our DIY night and craft some holiday cards for your family and friends.

Stretch, breathe and read! Librarian and certified yoga instructor Hannah will present yoga picture books, activities, and music incorporating simple yoga poses. Participants may bring yoga mats or use one supplied by the library.

Let's build together! K-6th graders will build a new structure each week using the library's Legos and their imagination. Lego Club meets on the 1st & 3rd Fridays, Sept. 6 - Dec. 6.

Teens, let’s craft an ugly sweater! The library will provide miscellaneous craft supplies, and you can bring a sweater, long sleeve shirt, or garment of your choosing to decorate.

Reading is snow much fun! Celebrate winter with snowy stories and music. Make a snowy craft to take home. Recommended for ages 18 months and up. A caregiver must attend with their child.

Are you new to technology? Come and get help with your tablets, laptops, and phones. Start your digital adventure! Meet at the Douglass Activity Center in the Community Room, 925 Yuma St. Every second Monday of the month, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
