An Introduction to Viet Thanh Nguyen

KSU English Department presents an introduction to Pulitzer Prize-winning author Viet Thanh Nguyen. This program is designed to create new fans of Nguyen’s thought-provoking writing and intellectual work. There will be video clips, a brief reading from The Sympathizer, and great discussion about his portrayal of refugee and Vietnamese American experiences. No previous knowledge required. Save the date for Viet Thanh Nguyen’s reading for K-State, which will take place via Zoom on October 22 at 4:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served. Masks are required.
