StoryWalk® Downtown: Pete the Cat

The StoryWalk® Downtown is a self-directed walk available May-July. The walk starts at Manhattan Public Library's north windows along 629 Poyntz Avenue. From there, you’ll walk downtown and read pages from Eric Litwin’s original Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes book along the way. Look for book pages in downtown businesses’ windows; a virtual map of the route is available. Once you’ve completed the StoryWalk®, visit the library’s Children’s Room for a small prize. Co-sponsored by Downtown Manhattan, Inc.
