Purpose of Meeting

We are hosting a panel of experts (RCPD, DCF, mental health providers, etc) who work with children and families when child abuse is suspected. This event is designed for parents, caregivers, teachers, and anyone who works with children. The experts will answer questions relating to child abuse:

1. What are tell-tale signs of child abuse?
2. If someone suspects abuse, what should they do?
3. What happens behind the scenes after someone makes a report?
4. What are the potential outcomes after a report is made?
5. What resources are available for families?
