Join us for the special pop-up poetry walk on the prairie as we discuss poetry and the natural history of the gorgeous flint hills we call home. Kansas Poet Laureate Dr. Traci Brimhall and nature writer and poet Dr. Elizabeth Dodd will discuss the poetry of the Humanities Kansas book, Wild Words. We will meet at the Konza Prairie Nature Trail head and hike to the top of the hill. If you would like to continue on, you may do so on your own. Please come prepared for a hike on the prairie; sturdy shoes, pants, bug spray and water are recommended.
Participants will receive 1 copy of the book per household.
Registration is required.
