Event Details

Join the Student Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (SCASLA) from Kansas State University on Saturday, September 17th to celebrate Park(ing) Day! SCASLA students will transform a parallel space on Poyntz Avenue into a temporary parklet that will have plants, seating, and activities for pedestrians. All are welcome!

Park(ing) Day is a worldwide annual event that encourages the public to discover ways to improve our parks and public places. In addition, this annual event serves as a way to educate the public about Landscape Architecture as a profession.
