Purpose of Meeting

The purpose of this meeting is to gather all LGBTQ+ members and allies and supporters of bodily autonomy to asses the situation here in Manhattan in terms of human rights and bodily autonomy (specifically trans rights and right to an abortion). Then we will discuss what a sanctuary city would look like for trans people and those seeking abortion rights. Finally, we hope to create a plan on how to uphold a sanctuary city to ensure our trans community members are safe and human rights, including abortion rights, are protected. We welcome anyone and everyone who is interested in making Manhattan a safer place for everyone.
