Purpose of Meeting

Public education program on Kansas Threatened and Endangered wildlife, specifically the Ornate Box turtle and spotted skunk. The Ornate Box turtle is officially the state of Kansas reptile with species numbers declining across the state. This program highlights this and other threatened species on the declined of habitat and the threats for their existence.
