Celebrate Kansas Reads to Preschoolers Week by reading to a young child in your life! This year's featured book is My Heart Fills With Happiness by Monique Gray Smith and Julie Flett. All families attending a storytime this week will get a free book. Follow the library on social media for other ways to win a free book. Kansas Reads to Preschoolers is an annual event that promotes reading to all Kansas children from birth through age five. Through the statewide program, parents, librarians and caregivers are encouraged to read the chosen title during a selected week and month.
